The Fleur De Lis is a classic stylized floral design of French origin. It has been used troughout history on crests, flags, and many other Old World insginia. Today, however, the most famous correlation in the United States is with the state of Louisiana. More specifically New Orleans. The Fleur De Lis is an iconic image and logo for Mardi Gras and any cajun, creole, or acadian event. It has a rich history stymbolizing the French heritage and influence in southern Louisiana and remains one of the most recognizeable symbols of the culture.
This version of the Fleur De Lis border is gold only. The design has smaller versions of the Fluer De Lis in the corners and has a simple, elegant and easy going quality.
